Welcome to Message My People. By subscribing to our text messages or by using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
SMS subscription
By providing your phone number through our opt-in form and checking the consent box, you agree to receive recurring promotional and informational text messages from us at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Help and unsubscribe
Reply HELP to any message we send you to receive help, including how to contact us. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe — we will stop sending messages within a short period after we receive your STOP. You may also unsubscribe by emailing support@messagemypeople.com with the subject line "UNSUBSCRIBE" and the phone number you wish to unsubscribe.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to subscribe. By subscribing, you represent that you are at least 18 and that the phone number you provide belongs to you or that you have authority to consent on behalf of the number's owner.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use our service to harass us, abuse our staff, transmit unlawful content, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may unsubscribe and block any number that abuses the service.
Changes to messages and service
We may change message frequency, message content, sending number, or discontinue the service entirely at our discretion. We will communicate material changes via text where reasonable.
No warranty
Our service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that every message will be delivered, on time, or without error. Carriers (including T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Message My People will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which may be zero).
Privacy
Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Message My People operates, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
